What makes two people “soulmates?”

I think it is a spiritual thing — not something physical or emotional — a knowing that God has brought into my life that special someone to share my innermost feelings, dreams, desires, etc. He is not a mirror image of me, yet in him I see my reflection. Our interests may be different; our passions may run on a separate course but we have the same goal of serving and pleasing one another. I believe that when you are with that special person it is very easy to “be tenderly affectionate one to another; in honor preferring one another” like it says in the Bible.
