how do i make the comb in my wedding veil not show?

i am wearing my hair down, long, and curly. i will be wearing a tierra as well. but i cant figure out how to stick the veil in there without the comb showing. any ideas? (i cant go to a hair salon cuz its too freakin expensive)

My tiara was attached to the veil.
What the hairdresser did to attach the comb – she took a hunk of hair at the back top of my head and twisted and twisted it until it started curling back in on itself, and it kind of made a flat knot. This she pinned down and sprayed heavily. Then the comb slid right under that – and honest-to-gosh it did not move the whole day and night! It was pretty ingenious.
I really think you should reconsider going to a salon – they just have ways of doing things, and much better products than we can have at home. It’s a good investment of $50 for the day! For example, if I would have sprayed my hair at home as much as the hairdresser did, my hair would have looked like crappy helmet-head. However, whatever she used made all the curls stay in place, with no buildup of product, and it looked amazing.
